June 28 – International LGBTQ+ Pride Day
When we talk about reproductive health for the LGBTQ+ community, the focus is often placed on techniques and procedures. However, for many people, the real difference lies in how they are supported throughout the process.
“We chose Fertilidad Integral because of the constant communication throughout the process, and everyone there really cared about our well-being and wanted us to be successful. They made it really easy for us to focus on the fertility journey and making sure we were set up for success in our retrieval and the success with our transfers. They were there with us every step of the way. Everyone involved really made us feel welcome and today, we have two babies thanks to them, and all we can say is: thank you!”
This story, shared by a couple of women who are now celebrating motherhood, is a powerful reminder that pride also means being able to grow your family in a space free from judgment—one built on warmth and professionalism.
Motherhood looks different for everyone.
In a recent episode of La Magia del Caos with Saskia Niño de Rivera and Aislinn Derbez, they speak candidly about the experience of choosing motherhood outside the norm: with freedom, intention, and without fitting into traditional molds.
Because yes—mothering as a queer woman or in a same-sex relationship is possible, valid, and deeply transformative. And it deserves a clinical and emotional environment that respects and supports that choice.
Preserve, plan, decide
In Latin America, nearly 20% of fertility treatments in private clinics are requested by LGBTQ+ individuals and women without male partners (REDLARA, 2022). This growing demand highlights not only the need for accessible care but also for support that’s rooted in empathy and real expertise.
At Fertilidad Integral, we offer treatments such as intrauterine insemination with donor sperm, the ROPA method, and fertility preservation for those who want to plan their journey to parenthood at their own pace.
But beyond treatment, we offer something essential: a network.
A network of professionals, clear information, emotional support, and active listening—so every person feels seen, heard, and truly held.
The pride of choosing freely
This June 28—and every day—we celebrate those who choose to build a family on their terms. We know the work isn’t finished. There are still barriers that LGBTQ+ people face when seeking reproductive care. But at Fertilidad Integral, we’re committed to continuing this path—guided by inclusion, diversity, and empathy. Because every story deserves to be heard. And every journey is to be accompanied with respect.
If you’re thinking about starting this process, we’re here to walk with you from the very first step.
